Aunt Jackie’s Curl Boss Coconut Curling Gelee Review

Hello, guys. A very warm welcome to my post. It’s my hair back with another article and for today, it is a quick review on the Aunt Jackie’s Curl Boss Coconut Curling Gelee.

I thought I would do a quick review just to be able to give you guys my thoughts, how my hair fell and all of that. Good stuff. So stick around if you want to be able to find out more.

All right, guys. Here we go, guys. I was introduced to Aunt Jackie’s last year when I went into the hair shop. I kind of hides things about Jackie. And, you know, I watched a couple of reviews. Honestly, it wasn’t a brand that kind of was in a hurry to go and get products from. But I did know that they were more products coming into the U.K. from Aunt Jackie’s. So I thought I would give it a guard for the Combos. Just sitting there. I re-organized this bit at the back. My flax seed and castor oil Eco’s Sila decided to up and leave me and expire and just discombobulated itself vanished on me. If it’s done me and this is the first time that I’ve rinsed out an eco-style.

This gel is the very, very first time where it just went. It went. Now, before I went, put myself into the hair shop or go onto Amazon to order myself another tub of Styler, I said, What else is there? What else is here? So I went into my section of jells. This is my section of jells right here. Let’s do this properly. I’ve got my styling butties here. So anything styling, butter related, custard pudding, whatever it’s going to be, is going to be in this section. And then I have my gels in the middle and then my edge controls on the other side. So I can now clearly see what I’ve got, what I can make work before I go and take myself to spend more money because there are things here that are just sitting there on Aunt Jackie’s curl boss coconut curling gelee was one of them. It was there untouched, had never been used before and is very much walls looking for. It is a gel. You know you want to finesse the name. Call it a curling Jeleva spelt G L double E with an on the top. But it’s still a gel. Right. It is still a gel. And it did what it needed to do. So you guys have checked out the wash and go, look, that I did. It was a normal wash. Dad used or Malloy oil for my shampoo and conditioner, as you guys know. And then I proceeded to use the Shea Moisture 100% coconut oil leave-in treatment. This is it right here, Leave-In treatment that I got from the treasured trust. And it was a matchbox.

I got it was a takeover by. Hey, Kenny, I remember because you were watching my videos and all of that good stuff. And it is leaving treatment that I’ve experienced that my hair love. So what I did was just I used that to be able to use as leave and wanted to play it safe. I wanted to avoid flakiness. I wanted to avoid flakiness. Did you hear me? I wanted to. I don’t think you hear me when I say I wanted to avoid flakiness. That was always the one thing that I worry about when I’m trying a new product, especially Angelilli, that if I use too much double-double, you know, we’ve experienced it already. I’ve given you demonstrations of how things can just go wrong. Please. I wanted nothing. No trouble. I wondered. None of that. I just wanted simplicity. Quickness.

Things that were just going to one to do what they needed to do. Right. So all I used was, of course, the Jacky’s Cobos and the leave and treatment just to be able to work with my hair. So put it in sections, apply the leave and applied the jelly. And then I banded as normal. What I loved about the jelly was the immediate definition felt nice. Do you feel like it was going to dry out my hair? It all immediately. I started working it into my hair and my hair was absorbing it quite nicely. It was giving me the curls, the cool yule. And I was almost tempted to just let my hair air dry because I was banding it so that it can have a little bit more elevation and have a bit more stretch. And all of that good stuff without making it look like my hair was just shrunk. I picked up again because, with the type of look that I went for because you’ve got the flat twist at the front, you kind of want some elevation on this side. Right. And the way my wash-in goes tend to go get it.

The way my version goes to get to it, the way I usually demolish motion goes, you know, is I’ve usually Lady Andrae, but that means that my hair is pretty much like shrunken to the shrunken list of places. And I find I wanted to just have a different vibe. And so I ended up banding it. I’ll say I finished styling my hair early evening and then I came back the next day. A. Mid-afternoon to unbanned and because my hair wasn’t 100% dry, because it was still in the bands, that was a nice look. So it had some kind of a stretch. And because the jelly helped is it promotes itself as I’m adding elongation into the hair.

So it helped to be able to keep the look and the form of the look that I was going for, which was nice. And then in the weekday for work, the way I kind of put my hair into place when I did it the first time, it didn’t quite work the same way. So what I did was just really just did a puff. This is pretty much been my look all week for work. It had a bit more volume Monday, Tuesday. I respray and all of this. And it’s just been like a nice. See that it’s been like a nice puff with the flat twist at the front look, which worked well for work, so I was pleased with back during the week. I continued to use the leave and treatment. So this has been my spraying them winning spray at my spray. It’s bad.

Let’s get on with the review. What I think about Jackie’s. Her curls and her coils. What do I think about her coconut cream recipes scene as I’ve tried just this one? What do I think about the Aunt Jackie’s curl boss? What do I think? I think it’s a Joe Hova asleep. Okay. And I want it. So this curl boss gel is for natural curls, coils and waves. Its enrichment of coconut oil. You can never go wrong with coconut oil. The important part is that it is a sulfate-free parable of Ray. It’s got no minerals, no petroleum. That petroleum lies to sneak in then some of the products every so often. It’s haven’t got any of that. A little bit at the bottom. Show your coals, coils and waves. Who’s in charge? This lightweight Fritze control jelly recipe uses just the right amount of coconut oil to help deliver impressive definition. Shine and softness.

I am not so sure about the shine because my head did stop. Maybe because of the combination of delivered treatment, the shine I had to supplement with the polish. So I’ll say that softness somewhat of a take. I wasn’t as crunchy as if you were going to use your eco’s Dyna, for example. It wasn’t as crunchy without an as stiff and tacky feel. That is a Tekin take. You know, sometimes when you use Jelly’s other jellies and there’s one that’s still my favourite, but you feel it. I like to play with my hair, especially when I’m thinking especially when I’m like, Aw, and when are you feeling your hair? And it’s not. You get that type of thing and you’re like, I don’t need that in my life. It takes that box and it helps minimize shrinkage.

Yes, that it did do so in terms of the actual ingredients in here. So main ingredients are, of course, coconut oil. It has also got wheat protein and wheat protein is very, very handy. It’s a good ingredient if you want to be able to strengthen your head. Gives you great protein back into your head, which is good and helpful in terms of maintaining healthy hair. Overall, I was pleasantly, pleasantly surprised with  Aunt Jackie’s curl boss coconut curling gelee. It did exactly what I needed it to do, especially as a replacement for Eco- Styler your more standard gel.

So for me, I just started using eco starter again. I think the flaxseed and coconut oil one is the first one I used in a very long time, but my hair loved the stuff. So I did a rush to go and get another one of the Cobos coconut curling jelly. It worked well as an alternative and a better alternative in terms of the ingredients that are in there. And I definitely will be using it a lot more. Listen. Even down to my edges, it has great, great hold on my edges. And I thought it was just going to be the eco-style. There’s going to be able to hold me down with my edges. But a pleasant surprise is that they call balls also can do that for me, which I appreciate. And it kept the coils in my coils of my here some gay. I just applied the jelly when I styled. And all I have been doing is using the leaf in treatment to be able to moisturize my hair. Can we just sleep for a second because these coils are still coiling? OK, they’re still nicely tucked and neat. And you know, just the way I like my pup, especially when it’s been over about a week in and it’s ready for a wash. Like I could rock out and not wash my hair for another week.

I’m good. I’m all right. You know, I’m not that type of person, but I would be able to if I wanted to. I could easily rock this look for another week and I would be good. The key is not using too much of the jelly. I did find that when I was in ravelling the bands there was slight flakiness in one or two bits, but nowhere near for me to be able to notably noticed the flakes off me. So usually an indicator would be on my clothes, on my shoulders. That would be some type of bleakness. I think it was just at the front. At some point where I overly apply a little bit more than usual or it didn’t sit quite well in the band to where it didn’t dry the way, I needed to dry. And that’s where I felt a bit flakiness. So I always bear that in mind. If you’re going to use a gel or, you know, some kind of jelly of some sort. To be able to avoid the flakiness, the over flakiness. So to say minimal, minimal products required. Please even me, I was a novice when I started doing this whole. I need very helpful products to be able to work with a style and we’ll talk about that soon. Guys, because even I’m starting to become a minimalist. So for this look, all I used was two products, Max.

So I used to polish just to be able to give myself a little bit of shine a couple of times during the week. But aside from that, I was good to go with just two products, guys, just to especially if you’re going to try and use a jelly, you kind of want to be able to have like a liquid leave-in that’s going to give you as much moisture as possible. And then being able to go in with the jelly, even like the lock methods and all of that kind of stuff and kind of breaking that par. And I’m kind of seeing what does what for my hair because we do a lot of this is what you’re supposed to do, but sometimes give you had the benefit of the doubt. And it will surprise you. Don’t always have to add oil, for example, as part of the method or the LCI method. It’s just what well, what will work, say, in terms of like the type of loop that you’re going for? For me, all I needed was Alleven treatment. All I needed was the Jelly.

Why both of them had the key ingredient of oil, which was coconut oil. And that’s a prime example of what you can look for in terms of supplementing it. So you don’t always have to pile on your head with the product after product to be able to achieve a style. So hopefully this will give somebody an idea of other alternative ways you can style your hair without having a lot of product. So hopefully that will help. But overall, really, really loved Jackie’s call box. We’ll be taking the call. Boss with me to Zambia. It will be a staple. Love this stuff. Other products that I’ve tried from on Aunt Jackie’s shampoo and the deep conditioner.

I like the shampoo deconditioning? Not so much. And of course, I am loving Aunt Jackie’s curl boss. But I definitely will be able to do another review soon on other on Aunt Jackie’s hair products. Now be able to give you guys a full review about that as well. But aside from that, I hope you guys have enjoyed this post.
